Project 365 Week 12

March 23-29

We had an unusually quiet week at home without too many evening activities.  This was especially nice since my husband was out of town on business most of the week!  The April showers are looming in State College as the snow has almost melted, and these kids love jumping in puddles.  This week's set of photos also focus more on the details, so click on an image to see a description of each photo!

Project 365 Week 11

This week, the great thaw began . . . and then it was halted when five inches of snow descended on State College.  I made it through all of winter without getting stuck in the driveway, but the first day of spring gave us a minivan in the driveway until my two little workers got home from school.   Cooper also lost of one his two front teeth this weekend (we may have some orthodontic bills in our future with three kids, but I love this toothless wonder more than words can say!).

Project 365 Week 10

The first signs of the great thaw are here!  While tulips were blooming in the kitchen, brand new baby girls seemed to pop into our friendships quite regularly this week.

Project 365 Week 9

Just because there's snow (and quite a bit of ice) outside doesn't mean that we shouldn't try on different shoes to keep us content.  While last week brought us roller skates, this week brings us bowling shoes and hockey skates (look for plenty of bare feet in the summer months!).

Project 365 Week 8

We enjoyed many indoor activities this week due to the extreme temperatures outdoors (and these indoor activities were sometimes just a tad messy).  I had a rare girls' night out at the salon, and Stella was finally able to wear "big-girl" roller skates at the skating rink.

Project 365 Week 7

It's finally Valentine's Day (though the hearts will continue to peek through this month).  Stella danced in her extravagant Elsa dress and sparkly shoes while Cooper celebrated his first communion along with the rest of his second grade Sunday School class.  And yes, those bitterly cold temperatures continued . . .

Project 365 Week 6

Week 6, and the hearts are still here (along with the cold!)  Cooper took the position of runner-up for his age-group in the Pinewood Derby, and we still got some scooter-fun in during Indoor Park with Stella and Jack.

Project 365 Week 5

The end of January is here!  But . . . there's still plenty of snow to go around.  Cooper and Pete worked on the Cub Scout Pinewood Derby car, we attended many events at school, and we kicked off February with some heart-shaped love.

Project 365 Week 2

Week 2 of 2015 brought us more snow along with many winter memories . . .

Project 365 Week 1

Welcome to 2015!  Clearly, there's not that much going on this year, so I decided to take part in a Project 365.  For those unfamiliar with this, the goal is to take and post a photo every day for a year.  To help document the progress, I've decided to post those photos here.  Here goes nothing . . .
